Ban Rom Sai
Is the way all children should be able to live. The orphanage’s main sponsor. Most recently, Credit Suisse (Tokyo), a Swiss bank, under its Asia Pacific Philanthropic Program, donated US $ 50,000 to build a library, computer center and accommodation at the orphanage. Although individual and corporate sponsorships are important for the orphanage, The long-term goal is to make the orphanage self-funding. “Relying solely on donations is risky, because you never know when they will dry up. That is why I want to find ways for the orphanage to generate its own funds” says Miwa-san. Because of this, she has implemented many ideas to raise funds and reduce costs at the orphanage
