Wat Phra Singha Voramahaviharn, one of the very important temples of Chiang Mai, is built in the Lanna or Northern Thai architectural style. The monastery houses Phra Buddhasihing, a Buddha image deemed to the guardian and protector of the city of Chiang Mai.
