Monkey Club is the number one for locals to listen to Thai and electronic music. It’s located in one of the side streets of Nimmanhaemin Road.
● Bubbles 46-48 Charoen Prathet Road, Tambon Chiang Moi, 50300 Chiang Mai Only playing electronic music and crowded with Thai’s and foreigners as this spot is located under the Porn Ping Tower Hotel (pretty close to the Night Bazar).
● Mandalay Bar
Kotchasarn Road, Tambon Phra Singh, 50200 Chiang Mai Mandalay Bar is a boiling electro music club in the moat (immediately after the curve at Bumrung Buri Road) and known for its gay/lesbian/ladyboy and tomboy scene. If the club closes as 2 pm another dancing club opens directly above it so that no one has to go home until early morning.
● Spicy
Chaiyaphum Road, Tambon Chang Moi, 50300 Chiang Mai A discredited club close to BKK Bar and also located near the moat. This club plays every day electronic music and is an easy place to meet new people. |
